Sheldra Thomas is a U.S. Army veteran with more than 22 years of military service. She is passionate about continuing her commitment to supporting Veterans, service members, and their families in her current role. During her Army career, she served in senior logistics and leadership positions, including Brigade Property Book NCOIC and Brigade Logistics Sustainment NCOIC, developing extensive experience in leadership, coordination, problem-solving, and serving the needs of others.

Sheldra continues that commitment through her work with the Florida Veterans Support Line, helping connect Veterans and their families with community resources, VA services, Veteran Service Organizations, and other programs designed to meet their individual needs. She is passionate about ensuring Veterans know where to turn for assistance and helping bridge the gap between Veterans and the organizations available to serve them.

Above all, Sheldra believes that serving Veterans is an extension of the Army values that have guided her throughout her career: leadership, respect, selfless service, and commitment to others.

UWWF Recovery Fund

Hurricane Isaias has left damage across our community, and many of our neighbors are facing an uncertain road to recovery. Now is the time to come together and help local families begin to rebuild.

United Way of West Florida is working with local organizations to help meet critical needs and support recovery in Escambia and Santa Rosa counties. Your donation to the Emergency Relief Fund will help provide support where it is needed most.

Every gift makes a difference. Together, we can help our neighbors recover, rebuild, and find hope in the days ahead.
