The Florida Veteran's Support Line provides veterans and their loved ones the opportunity to speak with fellow veterans who can help them through the difficulties of transitioning back to civilian life, connect them to community resources and services, and provide emotional support from trained professionals -- all fellow veterans.

211 Northwest Florida is part of a statewide program of 211 providers dedicated to helping Florida veterans. Our state has the third-largest veteran population in the nation, with over 1,750,000 veterans calling Florida home. 211 Northwest Florida works in conjunction with the Florida Department of Children and Families, the Florida Department of Veterans Affairs, and the Crisis Center of Tampa Bay to provide a helpline where veterans can receive both emotional support and linkages to community resources.

The Florida Veteran's Support Line provides:

  • Comprehensive information and referral to VA

  • Funded services and hundreds of additional community-based services

  • Emotional support provided by trained professionals

If you know a veteran who might need assistance, please share this web page and encourage them to call 1-844-MYFLVET (693-5838) or dial 211.

UWWF Recovery Fund

Hurricane Isaias has left damage across our community, and many of our neighbors are facing an uncertain road to recovery. Now is the time to come together and help local families begin to rebuild.

United Way of West Florida is working with local organizations to help meet critical needs and support recovery in Escambia and Santa Rosa counties. Your donation to the Emergency Relief Fund will help provide support where it is needed most.

Every gift makes a difference. Together, we can help our neighbors recover, rebuild, and find hope in the days ahead.
